Our groups

Currently, Wanawake Tunaweza is working with five groups in and around Arusha. With the support of our volunteers and our donors, we aim to grow to 16 groups, enabling Wanawake Tunaweza to every 18 months coach on average 160 women.

Amani

Amani is a small but very close-knit group of six women, all from the Sombetini neighborhood of Arusha. The group was launched in 2014, when the women started with what is known as “playing kibati”1).
